I’m Helen Mavourneen Farrell - physician, writer, painter & fashion designer. It’s all art! I believe that there are no boundaries nor limits when it comes to inspiration, growth & creativity!

I’ve always been fascinated by the common thread of travel throughout all of my artistic pursuits.

It all started when I flew across the pond, from Kentucky to Ireland, to attend medical school at Trinity College Dublin & connect with my Irish heritage. In addition to studying (& drinking endless cups of tea) … I taught myself how to knit & sold my handmade treasures at Cow’s Lane Market on Saturdays.

I haven’t stopped learning, traveling & creating since!

I’m a big thinker & even bigger dreamer! - but it’s not all caint san aer (talk in the air) … I make things happen!

Mavourneen Travels was created in my Boston studio as a gallery to share my art & adventures with other visionaries.
